Anyone know where I can get hold of US game cube games, preferably in the UK. RES 2 & 3 in particular.

Cheers,

Mike.

RES 2 & 3 in particular
Why?
You can pick up a second hand Dreamcast and those 2 games for less than the cost of buying one of them import, and the DC version is smoother graphics (judging by a lot of reviews on the net).

These two are a real dissapointment, they could have made the graphcs look like RE:Remmake or RE:0 but instead just ported them from the PS version

cheers pink,

the games aren't actually for me, personally I can't see the logic in playing games that I have played before on different platforms.

They are for a mate ( well - ex next door neighbor), I got him a book once from amazon that he had a nightmare obtaining, he now thinks the whole world is at my fingertips.

I'll tell him what you said about the games being ported over, or do you have any links to sites I could give him to shut him up.Also, do you know if there are any changes to the games themselves, or are they exactly the same?

cheers,

mike.

The games are identical to their PS/DC. It think Res. 2 has the extra files that the N64 version had in, but that's about it (they only mentioned events in Res. 1, as N64 owners didn't have that game on their platform).

As for reviews, try IGN (Here and Here)
Or do what I did and do a google search on Resident evil 2 gamecube review.
And here's the cheek, they were going to release both games in a 2/4 cd set for $60, but then thought "hang on, we'll release them separatly and charge $40 each - more profit"
So that means they'll probably be at least £30 each over here judging by us-uk pricing
