Is it possible to restrict how much bandwidth people use when downloading from me when I'm working on the PC?

cheers,

yes, it's in the options.

you can restrict number of uploads/max bandwidth and the same with downloads too.

Kazaa lite, go to options:

On the Traffic tab: reduce the uploads to 1
On the Advanced tab: reduce the upload bandwidth to 24

Hope this helps

eh? it's crucifying my laptop that I'm trying to do work on (connected to exchange server so up/downloading), so it's a choice of not sharing or restricting it.
