Or to save pratting about with putting the exe's back each update time, just burn images of the discs for 1942/rtr using alcohol 120% then mount them as virtual drives using daemon tools. Bloody quick, uses little RAM and can have multiple virtual drives. I run 3 virtual dvd drives with this, one containing a image of my UT2K3 CD1, 1 containing BF1942 CD1 and 1 containing my RTR CD. Very quick and saves any potential aggro come patch time.

Nick

Alcohol is a 14 day trial that you can use to make the backup image. Like clone cd, but better cd copy options, as what sort of protection will it encounter etc. I recommend going into the options in Alcohol and selecting use no virtual drives. Let Daemon handle this.
Daemon is FOC.
