Can anyone confirm that the Ipaq 3800 series, well 3870 to be exact, can support a SanDisk 256MB SD card?

I bought one and it looks like its DOA. I have tried it in another Ipaq, a 3830 and a Palm Pilot. They can't regonise it either.

Help.....

I've got a 128MB SD card in mine - works fine. Sounds like you have landed a faulty one.
