Given that the Fx was at best winning ay 3% on most benchmarks i reckon the 9700 pro new driver just made it king in every bench mark now

Roll on the 9900 and keep up the good work ATI

Rumour has it that Nvidia canned the FX NV30 and are concentrating on the middle/low end until the NV35 comes out later in the year.

Think it would be fair to say they are in a mad panic and trying to invent a new card bloody quick.

Whereas ATI are calmly adding the finishing touches to the 350 and will release some nice drivers for it aka those not done in a mad panic.
