Any goodsites where I can download codecs for windows media player.

you wouldnt be after divx and xvid type codecs would you? Are these codecs you need for playing avi files by any chance???

Are you getting a message saying windows media player could not locate the correct codec or download it etc?

If yes to any of the above then try www.divx.com

Also do a search for nismo codec pack on google or on any p2p application you may have.

Mail me m8 if you still got problems. I have been spending a lot of time recently looking into codecs for avi to mpeg conversion so have learnt a little bit about this.

Have a look www.vcdguide.com In the newbie section it will tell you exactly what codec you need to watch whatever media file your after. It will have all codecs inc all DIVX & nismo codec pack.

Otherwise you can download the latest version of media player from the windows update page & the latest codec pack which they supply.
