Question

...for websites. E.g. if you were in the Netherlands, the site would automatically divert to the Dutch language site, even though .co.uk was the domain entered......

Make sense? Just wondering if there is a simple bit of code that could be inserted to do this. Help?

You might have problems with this as AFAIR IP address are not geographic.

Also if this was done I would keep seeing the German versions of websites when surfing from work. The perant company is German and the internet access is controlled from there as well.

It's webserver specific and called "Content Negotiation", it works by intercepting the "Accept-Language:" header sent by your client.

Well, you could use ripe to see what organisation has the IP address, but that's rather taking a sledgehammer to crack a walnut...

I think the answer has already been posted here?

Are you trying to target a particular market? Who is this web site aimed at?
