Question

Looking to change my ageing P166 after six reliable years for a Dell 8250 Pentium 4 2.8, what do you reckon on this deal

Alrite mate, ive just build a P4 2.8 but im planning to overclock. Im sure for £1,149 you could build it alot cheaper.

Id never spend money on a set system, not sure if Dell are good tbh.

Dell are the best of the best for deals like this. Also you can "Haggle" a bit. mate had a free upgrade on LCD.

But you can always get cheaper "Built in a kitchen"

Have to admit, have had 100's of the new 'black' Dell workstations at work. And as yet no notable flaws have arisen.

I can also claim the VAT back so it'll cost me around £849
