Right has anyone got any suggestions for a good isp for us to use at work we are using a 256k leased line at the mo.

Try an ADSL line. One of the "home" services should do fine (if the supplier will install to a business address) - as they're contended in the evenings. Perfect for daytime business use. Check if Nildram offers ADSL in your area.

We use Star Internet. They aren't perhaps the cheapest but their service and all the added extras (such as virus-scanning mail before you get it) are excellent. They do all sorts of connectivity including 2mbit ADSL.

easynet also offer SDSL in quite a few areas or ADSL at all BT enabled exchanges. U can also get ISDN backup to either of these services.
