Could someone give me an idea of what PC I should buy - I know absolutely nothing about the requirements for a current PC as you will see!

Am looking into a business venture from home but only will probably be using it for the absolute basics in Microsoft Office - primarily Word, Excel, etc. Specialist accounts packages, booking software etc may be added at a later date. Will be using for internet access also.

Not too bothered about sound, playing games on it, or uploading/editing videos as essential but could end up using these features some time in the future.

What size memory and power should I look for as a minimum spec for a PC that will sensibly last me a few years?

Am planning to go up Tottenham Court Road tomorrow to purchase something unless anyone can recommend a good deal for sale on line.

Packages including laser printers and other goodies would be interesting too.

Thanks in advance for any pointers and help.

have a flick on some computer magazines will give you a better idea, and some reviews are on bundle goodies, etc.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Dan - a great link - I've just ordered a PC from them and it seems a top deal.
