Did anyone here ever play Project IGI ? If not, why not, and pop down to your local kazza immediately for a copy -
in general, :
mega frustrating - no in game save option, some of the missions ( cant remember how many, 14? ) can take some time, stuff like health is very limited, it took me nearly 3 months to finish it, most of the time is spent memorising the level building layouts and the enemy positions. the enemy is as thick as pigsh1t, but if you get into a spot with a few of them you usually come off worse, and you can easily alert them. There are also certain buildings within the levels that will span endless amounts of enemy soldiers, and if you get spotted and raise an alarm, the boys pile out.
Mega Graphics - ( game engine based on flight sim - enormous / endless landscapes ) IIRC.
Realistic weapons -(never had any formal weapons training myself , but I find rocket launchers and pulse rifles unbeleivable and less involving).
Play it againability? - I still play it now,not bad for a 3+ year old single player shooter.
In my long and distinguished career as a poster on the Scoobynet Bulletin Board Computer Related Forum ( thats the only face i can remember ), I am surprised no-one has jumped at this game demo, or am I mistaken and you have all been Beta testing IGI 2 for the last year?
ps,
I will bump this thread up untill someone gets the demo and tells me what they think. We can then discuss the demo in question in more detail.
pps, I'm off to do the demo level, and try and take a screenshot of the stats. If anyone can beat my time I'll sned a postal order for £1.00.
ta,
mike.

I've got it
Only played it a bit.
Will have a longer go this afternoon.
Looks very similar to 1 in my short look.
Graphics haven't improved much (default settings)
Will have a play anyway.
