My mate has got the GPS add on pack for his ipaq. Its really smart and only cost about £140 from what I remember.

I got the Navman for Christmas and it's quite good.
pro's:
good advance warning for turning
very recent and up to date maps
fast re-routing
con's:
uses iPAQ speaker and the volume is just about OK
menu system is not very intuitive
GPS acquisition time can vary
Overall I'm pleased with it and would definately buy it again.
