I picked this up the other day and finally got around to playing it. It's GREAT fun ! No wonder it went Platinum !

I've been through about 6 or 7 (slashing, jumping, shotgun blasting) missions so far and haven't got bored yet - if you are looking for a Xmas bargain, this is definitely one of them...assuming you are into First Person Shooters. I've heard it takes about 15 hours to complete the whole game so....bring it on !

Can't wait for the next release if it's as good as they say it's gonna be !

Good point - this has a great pedigree. I think the developer was responsible for the Resident Evil series. I haven't got around to trying it yet. The sequel is coming out shortly isn't it ?

Anyone else recommend it ?

Yes, the developers did the Resident Evil series and this is much, much better. Very gothic and I have to admit has made me jump on a couple of occasions - can't wait to collect enough red orbs to make the dude fly

The next release is due out in March 2003 according to Official Playstation magazine and looks like it'll be a cracker.

Best stocking-filler around for 20 quid of my money!
