Are they any good. Got to get a new printer, scanner etc soon and pushed for space. Realise separates probably better but just wondering if these new 3-1 jobs are any good. If so which are best.

Dunno what your budget is, HP are normally good.

Just bought a Lexmark X63 from PC World for £130 inc VAT, which is a Fax, Copier, Scanner & Printer. Prints in colour, comes with cartridges (1 black, 1 colour) & despite what the bloke @ PC World said, comes with a USB cable (NP as I already had one at home )

Reason was that we needed a fax machine but there is naff all point (IMHO) paying £80 - £100 for a dedicated fax when you can get the extra bits for a just a very few quid more. It'll do the job, we've got a laser for b/w printing & a few additional benefits.

When looking at these type of devices, make sure you take into consideration the cost of the cartridges etc...

My dad got a Lexmark printer for some really cheap price, then he got a bit of a shock when the cartridges ran out! Needless to say I have since replaced the Lexmark printer with a HP.

No worries Puff

As you have said though, you have a laster printer for your black and white print outs so your needs are slightly different

Thumbs up

Tesco have a 3 in 1 Hewlet Packard job in as a WIGIG (When Its Gone Its Gone)

They were originally £180, reduced to £150 now further reduced to £99.99.

If you know anyone that works for Tesco, they can get you it for £90 after their discount.

Seems like a bargain to me

Merry Xmas,

Paul
