Hi ..I hired out CM3 and WRC 2 and was very dissapointed with old colin the graphics are like they are out of a comic book, however WRC 2 is cool and worth buying even if you have the first WRC

I did the first WRC in a weekend and was really disappointed as I'd spent ages getting through the Gran Tourismo 3 licences (hey, we're not all experts !)...I don't even see where the challenge is in WRC.
WRC was a bit bland..so I bought V-Rally 3...not bad but all that bollocks about being a driver for a team, picking up emails and all that...I wanted to get to the action.
I've tried CMR3 and it's good. It's quite a bit harder to start with but I've noticed (and I could be very wrong) but driving the Impreza on the quick rally events is a lot harder than driving the Focus in the championship events.
Prolly biased...
As for WRCII Extreme...I've given it a few runs and it feels like just another CMR3 game to be honest.
I did NOT like CMR3 to start with but then I got used to how the cars handled. I haven't really given WRC II as much attention as it probably deserves but then again...first impressions count.

I'm ditching WRCII as the steering wheel action is shyte.
There is no steering either side of straight on but then suddenly ratios up quickly and then your sideways.
Its not too noticeable on snow or low grip rallies as here your sideways anyway but on tarmac its a pain.
