This could well belong in Muppets but anyway.
A colleague was frantic because she couldn't find the mail she'd stored in her personal folder. On closer inspection I found out that she created a personal folder every time she wanted to "save" selections of her emails. This meant that she had about a dozen personal folders, none of which were actually added to Outlook!
Helped her after I stopped laughing.
