cheers for the replies guys.

was really looking for a AMD socket A based board, but might have to checkout the intel variants, depends the price/cpu+fpu performance..

oops, edited to add that the nforce2 boards, don't have onboard graphics, like the original nforce boards.

cheers

does anyone know whether there is any m/b manufacturer that has a ddr 333 mhz (or more) based board, with onboard graphics and lan? can only find 333/400 with agp 8x!!

For use in a linux cluster environment, currently running the asus-nforce ddr 266 (a7n266-e) version..but need to upgrade..

cheers

Tin

Does the nForce2 support onboard video?

On the Intel side, the 845GE chipset supports DDR 333 and onboard video.

http://www.asus.com.tw/products/mb/s...v/overview.htm

Also Abit, MSi and the other suspects will do a board.

If nForce2, is out, that leaves VIA and SIS on AMD.

AFAIK, VIA don't offer on board video in the KT333 or KT400.

See what SIS do?
