somehow some online music app has installed itself. Theres an icon in the toolbar on the right hand side. I can exit the prog but would prefer to remove all the offending items.
Looking at the task manager there are 2 progs...
1. eefoodru.exe which remains constant
2. A filename which changes after each bootup
how do i remove it?
Ta

format c: /s is your best method, hving backed up all your important files
Alternatively, assuming you are using windows, use msconfig to have a look at what programs startup with your machine. Use this info to find and eliminate the software on your harddrive, and then check the registry using regedit or regedit32 to remove any references.
To be honest, its easier to wipe the machine clean and start again, but it is time consuming.

This may sound ridiculous but if you go to Add/Remove programs you may find the offending program in there, even if you never knowingly installed it.
I had this before with some web search tool.
Try it anyway.
