Just wanted some friendly advice on what to do and what not to do with my new PowerMac Dual. New to the Mac scene and am not regretting it at the moment. Just had ADSL from nildram put in at home too. Was a nightmare to setup the router with my Mac but i eventually did it. Where's the best place to get all my Mp3's now i cant use Kazzaa? I have this Kazzaa type program called limewire but its no where near as good. I use Ircle for my mac and was wondering if there was anything better available?

Hehe Thx

RB5, I would not bother with all the file sharing stuff. IMHO too risky. If u do want to get ahem MP3's etc, I would suggest your nearest computer fair.

I have just got an iMac and am seriously impressed with it, especially the digital stuff i.e. iTunes, iMovie and IDVD. Also just got an iPod and that is superb too. The Apple forums are excellent for info.
Cheers,
Mossman

Morning, just go to www.apple.com and then look for support and then discussions. Very helpful indeed.

Can't you just put the computer in a DMZ (if the router has this option) and use Zonealarm or its equivalent for security, then you can use Kazaa.
