Extending a similar theme, anyone have (or recommend) a utility to salvage some data files off a floppy disk.
Disks gives us the 'it's not formatted' message.

Do a search on "undelete" & you'll get a load of shareware/freeware utilities that may be of help. I've always managed to recover deleted files from one or other of the utilities there.

But I don't need an undelete util. The files haven't been formatted or deleted. The disk is faulty/bad sectors and won't read properly.
Would these utilities mark bad clusters and recover the actual data?
