Does any one know of any free hard-drive recovery software? Ones that will recover data before asking you to register?

I have a few types of software that do this:

sorry, havent got a FTP server at work, any way else you can send it? (we have unlmtd e-mail size)??

yes can mail you it, it's only 3.5 meg. I will have to rar it & password protect it otherwise scanning software will strip it out.
It is very good software.

oh, important bit I forgot to mention, remeber if you install the software on the machine that you are trying to recover from, you might overight the files that you are trying to recover, this also applies when choosing a destination for the recovered files

edisted to add - you can recover in dos mode for full recovery, however normally just run from the current pc in windows mode will suffice, depends how important the data is I suppose.

might be better to get some software from Puff's link, because your mail protector software(whatever_u_use) has just stripped out the exe I sent you......even though it was password protected, the encryption option must be on
