Running a Mac on Novell network - is it possible?

Topic sez it all really....
Got an 'ickle PowerBook with a network port - want to connect to work's Novell network to surf the net (until they sort out my new PC [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] )
Can it be done?

Depends on how it is configured. If the network is running TCPIP then it should be easy peasy just a matter of allocating the mac an IP address and pointing your web browser at the proxy server.
To really answer the question need to know more about the network setup.. does it run TCPIP? are you using bordermanager as the proxy? what OS is on the mac?

The network must be TCP/IP if your going to browse the Web....It will work by either using Static IP address or DHCP depending on the way the network is set up. The Novell think is a bit of a red herring I think, unless they are doing something really perverse with IPX.
