FS 2002 isnt quite the same on a MS Sidewinder.

I know the force feedback used to be good, but that was about 3-4yrs ago, what have people bought that the have good reports about.

What about the Logitech Wingman Force 3D -Force Feedback Usb? £38 from dabs, and you don't have to have something with MS written on it This as good as the sidewinder?

Also, what wheel is any good? Logitech Wingman Formula Force? Dabs again, £40ish.

gain, you pays your money etc.....

i bought the MS joystick, because it is fooking weighty, wont slip off the desk during some evasive made-up flying manouvre, it self centres when you grip it, (sensor on the stick) which is cool
and it really forces your hand!!!

you should at least try one out in a shop!!!

plus its plug and go with the ms flight sims!!!

if anyone wants to borrow my 'backup' of mscombat,on a long term arrangement, mail me...

I have the Sidewinder Force Feedback joystick and Wheel, both are super, nothing funnier than watching my kids (only little) playing on the joystick as it threatens to throw them off the chair !

Have the Joypad as well, pretty good but hardly any games use it !

Is the M$ Feedback wheel realistic? I play loads of driving sims and have always promised my self one. Are they worth the 90 odd squid?

I fly helicopters for real, hence wanted a half decent set of controls for FS2000/2. I ended up using a Saitek x36, with a specially adapted collective that is caged to fit onto the throttle unit, made by rc simulations. Using CH Pro pedals, this has resulted in a fairly decent setup...
