I am after some encryption software that can sit on a PCm and allow you to click on a file and encrypt it (either locally or on a networked drive), and only that user/pc can decrypt it.

Bottom line is I want it to be as pain free for the end-users, and provide a bit more security than simply password protecting word/excel files etc...

Have a look on http://www.download.com

You may find something there that's easy to use and free!

Thumbs up

This stuff's neat http://www.pgp.com/display.php?pageID=31 - it used to be freeware but there have been changes at the company so things might have changed. PGP stood for 'Pretty Good Privacy'.

Cheers
