Thumbs up

goto START/RUN and run this...

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

have a look at www.tweakxp.com for more info on configurating XP. the "Modify bandwith reserved for QoS-aware programs" is useful as well.

Evertime i open Outlook express, the windows Messenger starts. Can i stop it starting? I've been in the options pannel, and can't find anything to stop it. No big problem but it is a tad annoying!
