Domain registration - URGENT !!!
#2
you could try u-net, I think they will invoice for registration. If you want an email address you will have to get the domain hosted. I have a domain registered and hosted with them, I get 5 email boxes and can administer them myself online. makeyourownemailaddress@yourdomainname.co.uk type thing.

Well - I've not got a personal credit card or debit card and the compnay bank account is still in the initial process of being setup ie. we are waiting for the cards etc. We are registering the domain for another company and it needs to be done today if possible !
I know it's a lot of hassle for the sake of one domain but

So just buy it with a personal credit card and take it as expenses once the company account's set up. Just 'cos you're paying for it doesn't mean the domain will be registered in your name!!!
Edited to say: WTF do you mean you don't have a personal c/card or debit card?! !?! How can you live in a modern society!!!?!

There's a 29 year old bloke I work with who's only just got a credit card. I agree Mark, WTF? Plus he thinks it's really flash which makes me hang my head in shame for him.

I could kindof understand not having a credit card - some people just don't like 'em, and to be honest my finances' state over the last 10 years would have been a great deal better if I'd taken the same stance.
But no debit card? As far as I'm aware, all cheque guarantee cards and cashpoint cards are debit cards too these days (usually Switch, etc). So to not have a debit card implies that you don't have a bank account/cheque book, or that you specifically asked for a non-debit cheque guarantee card. Which, frankly, is just plain daft!

It was a wierd one in that I signed up online and the card just arrived. I didnt complain and have had it for a good few years now...
Always was good going down the pub and saying 'Ive got a credit card mate - i MUST be 18!'
