Is it possible to set this up in Win 2k? Don't know much about bluetooth but would like to plug my laptop into my desktop at work without it being *too* obvious to management

Cool

Yes, it is possible. However, don't forget that you will need a BT device in the office machine, so depends how "obvious" a PCi PCMCIA card reader + PCMCIA BT card are

Cool

Alternatively & a possibly bit more circumspect, is plugging in an Infra-Red receiver into the mobo & hiding the wires, then converse with that.

Alternative to that is direct cable connect over serial ports

BT card = Bluetooth Card - a lot less characters to write...

I don't know of any BT PCi cards, but I may be wrong.

Sorry....ummmm

You could get a TDK USB Bluetooth device.

Just be sure that your not breaching your companies security policy by doing this......

Also Bluetooth like Wireless technologies can be attacked by other users of Bluetooth equipment.

Of course - USB!

Probably why there aren't any PCi cards
