Got mine from here for a Thinkpad. Unless you need an inverter (240VAC in car) then the adaptor will be more compact and power efficient, and probably not much more expensive.

Check the input stage of the AC adaptor for your latop. Mine would have been 0.55A at 240V (132W) so the 150W would just have been adequate. Inverter is a nice idea, but the cheapo ones can only just power a light bulb or two so less appealing? Hence why I went for the compact adaptor.
