I have an Abit KT7-Raid motherboard and the chipset on this is well known for causing this type of problem with Creative Soundcards. I found the only one to work properly is a Sonicfury. What motherboard/chipset do you have?

Question

16MB soundcard?

We talking old AWE64 or a Live!/Audigy series? I didn't know that you could fit RAM modules onto the the last 2, but you never know....

Cheers,

Nick
