I cant delete a file!

Whilst downloading a file using imesh a p2p program i copied the partly downloaded file to play and see what it was like, but now i cant delete the file!
It is a windows media player file and when i try to delete it says another user or program may be using the file, but i have made sure nothing else is running.
Any ideas?
