Is there any quality differences between the maunfacturers ?

I have ( I think ) an excelsis microfilter and when I have it plugged in, the quality of the received calls is very poor ( they can hear me, I get loads of static ). Unplug it and everything's fine.

Just wondered if I have a duff one.........

As Mark will tell you, they all have to be BT approved to be plugged into the BT phone network - we have been using the Excelsus ones but have changed t another brand due to new router supplier. Can't see any difference other than price!

I stumbled across this web-site which seems interesting. I haven't bought anything from them yet, but it seems tempting (once i get a proper master socket!).
