I use this (ultimate PHP board) which is free:

http://www.webrc.ca/php/

Its very customisable and similar in appearance to scoobynet.

You will have to make sure your host offers PHP scripting, I saw on another thread you are looking for cheap hosting, you don't always get the facility to run custom scripts with cheap packages.

Cheers Gary!

What do you think to this one? YaBB I saw it on downloads.com.

I'm thinking about the hostplus package for £30. They say they provide:

Free .co.uk / .org.uk / .me.uk
100mb Web Space
100 Email Accounts
PHP3 and PHP4
SSI
MySQL
Perl/CGI
User Control Panel
Graphical Site Stats and Access to raw logs
Windows 2000 version available

So it looks like it should work on there?

Katie,

Yep yaBB is very good too, if you wanna see it in action you can do here http://www.beds.lug.org.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl

Yep if the hosts offer PHP3/4 hosting you should be in biz!
