Printer Error - HELP PLEASE

I am trying to print out an email and have told it to do so. It hasn't and now in the status section it says 'Deleting - Error - Printing - User Intervention Required'.
Pardon me for being a little thick, but what does this mean. I have tried to cancel it but it wont let me.
How can I clear it?
