Is it the QOS policy that you're thinking of?
If so, then run gpedit.msc, goto Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> QOS Scheduler
Double-click Limit Reservable Bandwidth and either set it to 0% or disable it completely.
Reboot for the changes to take effect.
I doubt that it would make enough of a difference to notice unless your timing file copies. If it's just slow accessing documents on another shared drive, then I'll be amazed if that fixes it.

Guys,
What exactly is slow on the XP machines? Is it transferring files, browsing shares, etc..
I've had issues in the past with machines not resolving NetBios names properly or PC's with other network clients installed (e.g. Novell) or the Provider Order for the clients is wrongly configured.
I've just setup some new Dell P4's with XP and they are flying over the network (even with the bandwidth reservation still enabled)

basically time taken to browse network and copy a file from 1 pc to another via a shared directory,
as i said all other OS flying , XP pants
used the networking wizard to create the connection initially but apart from that who knows

jase,
use the command line to map a drive over to the network share, then try the file copy. This will rule out any probs with your XP machines resolving UNC paths while it does the copy.
