Trying to close main browser window however...

it prompts for yes/no which i do not want.
<CENTER><FORM>
<INPUT type="Button" VALUE="Close" onClick="self.close()">
</FORM></CENTER>
it is basically an agreement they do for our intranet, if they click no i want it close the main window down without prompting.

Christian,
I think that is a security feature. I.e. you cannot close the main window, without agreement from the user. You can of course close all child windows.
I think the usual thing to do is to have the main window, pop-up an additional small windows with "Agree" "Disagree" buttons. If they don't agree, then the pop-up closes and the main page shows a blank page, if agree, the pop-up closes and the main windows goes to the page in question.
That is the way I've seen it anyway.
Cheers
Ian

If it is IE6 (or even IE5) you can customise the broswer with a kit called something like "The IE administrators kit" or similar.
You can do all sorts, like switch off toolbars, change logos/names on the window (for branding purposes etc.)
Might be worth a look, but I'm not sure quite what your application is.
Cheers

Does IE really have to quit ?
Could you not just have an "Agree" button ? This way, they can only proceed if they click the button, otherwise they get stuck with the "Do you agree page".
