Dear father_jack, please forgive me for I am about to sin......

Slightly more tax, and not "fighting the great fight" with the PCG to rid the world of IR35 (never gonna happen).....these are the reasons I shouldn't kiss goodbye to all my paperwork and stress? Fair play if my Umbrella goes bust then i'm in a bit of trouble, but aside from that and the above, I see no reason to not do it.....

What is my pennance father?

But Father,

If my "employer" is taking care of (thru me) all the tax payments that need to be made, and I am classed as an employee of said company...how can I be deemed to be inside IR35.....

I fear you might need to study your Bible more Father......

It's all down to the contract. If the contract nods towards disguised employment it doesn't matter if you use a limited company, an umbrella company, an offshore company, etc, you will be stung for all payments due.

So you already are an employee and paying full tax and therefore have been "caught" by IR35 or have caught yourself?
Umbrella Co. seems like the surest way of putting up you hands to it all as far as I can see.
Join the righteous PCG and read the mighty words of the FAQ therein.

Don't confuse Umbrella Company with Umbrella Corporation of Raccoon City - that would be a grave mistake, unless you're into flesh eating Zombies.
