I have set up a existing NT4 workstation with a new user profile - the user wants their Outlook 98 data from their old user profile transferred into their new profile.

I know Outlook encrypts & hides the PST files, so where is it?

nope - not there.....

fixed it now - just exported and imported his data into CSV files.

Quicker than tring to find the files manually!

nope it aint hidden just use find search *.pst or go look at tools\services in outlook it will tell you where it is there
i know you have done it now but i just thought i would say
