After free email for Outlook Express
#1
Anyone got any suggestions?
I used to use Yahoo but then they started charging oodles of dosh to use it with Outlook Express. I'm having to use AOL at the moment but I would prefer not to if at all possible!
Can you use AngelFire etc with OE?

Totalise - www.totalise.net you have a free 50mb limit, the also offer free ISP at just your local call rate to an 0845 number. Although currently POP3 isnt working due to a server upgrade, doubt it will be long though.

For christ's sake stop being so tight. Buy yourself a .org.uk domain name from Titanhosts, and get a pop account with it. Then you have a decent service, no monthly charges, and a 'proper' email address.

Domain names are hardly expensive - cost the same as a round in the pub or for a meal. Plus it's pretty cool having a your own personalised address.

Domain Names are not expensive when you can get them for less than £12 a year for a .co.uk.
I have even seen companies (Although I personally use Titan as I know their service) Offering stupid price deals!
http://oneandone.co.uk for example £2.89 a year for a .co.uk domain!
And I have seen even cheaper than that!

Oooh, I didn't know they were so cheap! I don't know much about hostings so that's why I have asked the questions. I think I may be able to manage a fiver a year....

To you they may not be expensive, to me they are. When I have money to spare then I will get one, but at the moment they are an unnecessary luxury.
Just give up the booze or **** for a week, and there you go.
