Question

anybody know what the deal is with renewing domains? i've got a whole bunch of domains registered which are due for renewal soon. trouble is i don't really want to renew them with the same company i used to register them.

how would i go about renewing them elsewhere?

Cool

You should probably transfer them before they expire, or renew them with your current ISP and then transfer 'em.

I've got a few registered at uk2.net. They have a facility to move domains to them from other suppliers but the only one I want to do, they can't support at the moment. You may be lucky though.

If they're not mission critical domain names, can't you just let them expire and buy them back the next day for a fiver?
Sounds like you're not using them anyway.
What are the names out of interest?

£25 per year? That should be enough to register/renew a domain for 2 years!

I've just renewed my .com domain through Titan for £100 inc VAT - and that was for nine years.

i'll be getting it for £7.99 (inc. .com) a year with no hidden extras for admin charges / nameserver changes / transferring away etc.

i just wasn't too sure about the transfer process!
