Do you want lists compiled using the filenames or the ID3 tags ?

got a vast selection of mp3's

never should have got mp3 units for car and hifi,

want to list them all, any easy programs out there to let me do this,

ie chuck disk in and it lists all the files

generally what i've got is album title then just tracks 1,2,3,4,5,........

so a disk would be

aerosmith_pump
now_52
etc
etc

Theres loads of programs to list the files in a specified directory to a text file or just a list of the directories. Otherwise something like EZ-Playlist for Winamp is a good little tool. It can generate HTML playlists from your files

Are your MP3's in folders on the disks ? Or are they named like . . .

For my catalogue, I just use good old 'dir', and then tidy up the output in Notepad...
