generally what i've got is album title then just tracks 1,2,3,4,5,........

so a disk would be

aerosmith_pump
now_52
etc
etc

Theres loads of programs to list the files in a specified directory to a text file or just a list of the directories. Otherwise something like EZ-Playlist for Winamp is a good little tool. It can generate HTML playlists from your files :)

Are your MP3's in folders on the disks ? Or are they named like . . .

Now 52 - 01 - The Birdie Song.mp3 ?

jase555 02 August 2002 09:18 AM

in folders

album title only not song data

DJ Dunk 02 August 2002 09:35 AM

And you want to list the folders or the mp3s inside ?
Can you elaborate a bit more ?

Sorry, for all the Q's, feeling a bit thick today :D

For my catalogue, I just use good old 'dir', and then tidy up the output in Notepad... :D
