I need to print a page of a database application which does not have a print facility, How do you do it

you have to use the print screen button and then paste it to the clip board i think.

Not sure if its ALT + Print Screen, or SHIFT + print screen...

try it and see

ALT + PrintScreen will place the active window contents on the clipboard, you can then paste it into an application (Word etc) and print it.
