AAAgggghhhh,
One of those days.......
Trying to change the file extension on a vid file from .M1v to .Mpg so I can open it in one of my programs.
How do you change the extension !!!
I am running Xp
Tried save as and rename,
Please help before I rip whats left of my hair out

Make sure that you have the option
"Hide extensions for known file tyes"
unticked in the folder options properties (under the view tab).
Once this is unchecked you can just rename as usual.
