tried doing right mouse button "open with" and pick internet explorer
Other thing is have they sent you 85 separate files or are they all compressed in a couple of .dat files. If so you need to find out what software they used to compress the files.

Can't find a graphic format that matches this. More info in case anyone else has any ideas.
The file Paul forwarded to me is 13k long and has a "regular" format, 76 characters followed by a CR/LF pair, so it will open quite happily in notepad etc as a text file. Could it be part of a picture/thumbnail viewing application?
First "line" of file is
cZ/A9AOP057TtBs0u5o7q9vWjQkxxtKxUD24wf8A61Ol1y/tpY7MWMZslGfOlOWU4PYn/Oa6edSe

maybe they are so sort of files that only a digital camera software will recognise? coz the file is native to the digital camera and no yet converted into .jpg, etc.
i remembered i had apple first digital camera, the QuickTake and the file format is only recognise by the QuickTake software, which then need to convert or "safe as" into .jpg.
