Got a PC with DVD, forgotten which, think it's a Samsung or LG (I always think they are the same)

Just tried to play a Canadian (R2) DVD, wanted me to reset the region. It's a pain if it should be done each time, more so as I have XP home and want my son to watch DVDs but not install s/ware, so he gets limited access logon and can't change the region.

Possible to hack it to multiregion? Haven't yet got used to XP, so don't know if I can set it to allow him to change settings but not install s/w...

just make sure the flash is EXACTLY for your dvd drive! you'll be OK. let us know the result .
