Looking for one, really storage/backup files so speed is not an issue. Any idea what to go for, where from and how much to pay.

Could be PMCICA(sp) as i use a lappie

2 i've seen at the moment

freecom - usb - basically cdrw drive in a casing quite big £115+vat

or the iomega predator slim line baby £160+ vat

used the freecom alright for the money apart from being HUGE

me using freecom traveller cdrw via pc card. it's a lot smaller, portable and self-powered. you might wanna look into external HDD for data storage, etc.
