Default Putting in a link

I've have forgotten how to do this - can you help please?


OK - say I want send an email or even post on SN. Example I want to write about this item from Beeb site http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-36935175


But just have link called say Trump Again


What do I need to do?

If you were to put the link into either Word or your Email Client (create a new email), you should be able to right click on the link and choose the Edit Hyperlink option.

On the Edit Hyperlink window the link address is shown at the bottom, whilst at the top there is an option called "Text to Display" where you could change the actual link details to Trump Again.

Then you should be able to add to SN as normal.

Thanks I'll give that a go. I would like to use the Word option but Word playing up at the moment. Cheers, David

Type some text, highlight it and click the link button.

Email is a different matter.
