Cool

Has anyone on here tried/got an Mstation ?

It's the harddisk that you can plug into your PC, load up with MP3's (I assume) and then plug into your car stereo.

Claims to hold 3000 tracks !

Quite tempted just to save carrying piles of CD's in the car !

Any comments ?

ive had an mstation about 6 months now, am very impressed.

ive got the 10 gig version wired though the aux port on my kenwood head unit (dont bother with modulator).
I've got 45 albums and 600 singles on there and still only using 6 gig!!

Sounds quality if you keep to 128k+ is superb.

If i was to repeat the buying exercise now though, i would probably look for something smaller and less cumbersome.Though same storage would be nice.

There were lots of threads in the ice section on mstation about 4-6 months ago, so useful info. Pity search isnt working isn't it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Exclamation

Apparently mStation have gone bust now, but the technology has been bought buy some other company - cant remember there name.

Hence, be careful of the really good offers around on mStation, as the new firm say they will not support the old hardware

Read in some car mag at the weekend (may have been MP :O )

Thanks guys. I'll make sure I get a V2 if I get one. Just comparing it to another one on the market just now (Dension).

Cheers

Yeah, but I like the idea of having no disks lying around the car getting wrecked !
You can get the mstations for around 200 now, so they're pretty cheap anyway. I think I need to listen to one first though to get a feel for quality.
