Changing serial port to com port

Hi,
As title says,i have downloaded some software to unlock my mobile,problem is the lead from phone plugs into serial port and the program reads info from com ports,any ideas on changing the serial to a com.

Paul,
If you have a fairly new PC, then the Serial (COM) ports are on the motherboard. You can enable/disable these via the BIOS.
Usually though, they are already enabled and will be installed automatically by whichever OS you're using i.e. Win95/98, etc..
What type of PC do you have?
