Default Which Macbook Pro

Looking for the best deal had my Samsung laptop win7 to 10 still a good puter, but torn between a 2015 128gb 8gb mac pro or go for 2012 500gb 4gb mac, as op systems will be the same after upgrade, would like HDMI so the 2015 but CD drive would be a bonus so 2012. I like to take a dirtying out my laptops so looking for 6 years out it. Main use surfing web music and a bit of Microsoft office retina screen not essential HDMI for web to TV . Finally looking to pay circa £850 , £680 sealed if possible.

128 is nothing, avoid or make sure you can upgrade, other than that set a budget and buy the newest you can. You think you don't need retina until you compare side by side.

Have you looked on the Apple refurb store? I always buy from there as the products turn up as good as new with the same warranty as new but have a good discount on them:

full list today:

yeah get 1 of the macs with SSDs which are i think the newish ones, makes the mac very fast... retina is good and in my book worth it very crisp.

MacBook Air will do you to be honest. the 999 one, but look on fleabea youll get one in your budget from a vendor.

pro would be overkill i think, as all your really getting is a bigger screen and better VGA cards etc...

but of you want a 15inch screen then i don't think youll get a latest or older model for that budget...

good luck..
